Our Geography Curriculum

At Telford Junior School, our geography curriculum aims to inspire a lifelong curiosity about the world and a deep understanding of the vital role pupils play in shaping its future. Through the study of both human and physical geography, we help children explore the dynamic processes that shape our planet, from natural landscapes like rivers and mountains to human activities such as urban development and trade. Geography at Telford Junior is enriched by cross-curricular links, such as exploring the Mayan civilization, analysing weather graphs and data, and using literacy skills to describe and analyse landscapes.
